Asking for More

I've spent years speaking with successful women leaders, and one pattern emerges again and again: the biggest barrier isn't talent, qualifications, or even opportunity.

It's not asking.

Not asking for what you want. Not asking the person who can actually give it to you. And critically, not seeking out the mentors and sponsors who research shows are even more essential for women's advancement than they are for men's.

In my work, I've identified three forces that determine who moves forward: the systemic gaps we need to name, the relationships that make a measurable difference, and the curiosity and ambition you bring to your own career. Because excelling at your current role isn't enough; you have to make it clear you're ready for what comes next.
