ChatGPT for Your Health Is Finally Here

ChatGPT for Your Health Is Finally Here

Twenty years ago at Google Health, Missy Krasner had a vision that was too early for its time. She imagined a world where all your traditional medical data—diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions—could combine with lifestyle data, environmental factors, and behavioral patterns to give you a complete picture of your health.

Not just what's wrong. What you could do about it.

At HLTH 2025, she told Laurie McGraw that vision is finally becoming real: "Imagine a ChatGPT for your health that's got a longevity database in it. It's like, Missy, here's all of your problems. These are all your medical diagnoses. This is what you do all day long. This is what your environment is. I can now tell you how much longer you're gonna live if you do A, B, and C."

The co-founder of Penguin AI (which just closed a $30 million Series A) isn't talking about vague wellness apps or generic health tracking. She's talking about combining "all of the traditional allopathic westernized medicine data you have on me in the system" with everything else AI can now process to create genuinely personalized longevity insights.

"This is what I was talking about 20 years ago at Google. Now is the time."
What changed? The data infrastructure exists. AI can actually process it meaningfully. And most importantly, consumers are finally frustrated enough with traditional healthcare that they're willing to pay out of pocket for tools that actually help them understand their own health.

Google Health failed because it was too early. The tooling wasn't there. The consumer demand wasn't desperate enough. The data wasn't connected.
Now all three conditions exist simultaneously. The longevity trend isn't just about people wanting to live longer. It's about people finally having access to the tools that can actually tell them how.

Twenty years later, the vision Missy couldn't build at Google is finally buildable. And she's building it.
