She collaborates with HIMSS as the HIMSS TV host for HIMSS Europe 2023, 2024, and was a Programme Committee for HIMSS Europe 2024. As a patient advocate, she moderated the European Patient Forum Congress in 2021, and worked as a moderator of several panel discussions at The Economist Impact Cancer Series event in November 2021. She is a member of the Slovenian branch of Healthcare Businesswomen Association, active in the organisation board for membership and partnerships.
In the past she was a mentor in Startupbootcamp Digital Health Berlin and a contributor to MedTech Engine, among other things.
After years of experience in healthcare journalism and event management, she refocused to IT adoption in healthcare through business development and communications management at Better - leading provider of a platform to store, manage, query, retrieve and exchange structured electronic health record data based on openEHR vendor-neutral specification.
She has a Master’s degree in healthcare management and economics from the University of Ljubljana.
Her personal explorations of human diversity include a short-term volunteer work in Uganda and Turkey and a several month long hike of the Continental Divide Trail section between Colorado and Canada, and attending Burning man festival.
